The Senior LPGA Championship returns to French Lick – here are my picks to lead the field!

The Senior LPGA Championship features an epic battle among LPGA Legends at French Lick this week.

Many of the Tour’s Legends, playing more frequently in the past few years, are hungry for competition. These women are sharpening their skills, muscle memory is returning and their competitive drive is returning.  The Legends are ready to win!

The excitement is truly in the air and the second annual Senior LPGA Championship has  already started with the practice rounds.  This 54 hole event has a field of 81 Legends scheduled to tee off this week in a competition.

Here is what we know about the field.

We have the 2017 inaugural Senior LPGA Champion, Trish Johnson, returning  this year to compete. Johnson has already let it be known she is prepared to make herself a repeat winner this year for 2018.

However, Trish will face fierce competition. Every one of these LPGA Legends has her eyes on a piece of the $600,000.00 purse. Both Julie Inkster and Laura Davies intend to chase down that 2018 title this week.

With 81 LPGA Legends schedule to play this week, I have decided to take a look at the top 10 players to watch in this Championship.  Some of you may agree with my picks, others you may not for a variety of reasons, which is just fine.

So let’s have some fun and name a few you may or may not recognize from my picks.

Lets start going through the list of the top LPGA Legends to watch for in this 2018 LPGA Legend championship Tournament.  I will begin with #10 and work my way to the #1 player to watch.
